IdealShape vs Isagenix: This Will Make You Find the Right Choice

So we’ve got another battle again of which meal replacement shake is better. I frequently get the question of which one I would choose between IdealShape vs. Isagenix, but I say we must let the facts answer.

If you want to know which one would I choose, then keep on reading below.

Comparison Between Idealshape And Isagenix

1. Let’s take a thorough look at its nutritional values!

It is very important that we meticulously examine the nutritional values provides by both IdealShape and Isagenix; it is the only way to know if the product could help us shred some unwanted pounds from your body weight.

So what do we need to look for? The best meal replacement shake should have a low-calorie intake that could help you lose weight but at the same time give you the appropriate amount of nutrients to help you get through the day.

Now, let’s see which shake can offer you so much nutritional benefit.

  • Calories and Fiber Content

IdealShape vs. Isagenix, which one do you think has lesser calories? Well, for this round, IdealShape wins the battle with only 100 calories per serving while Isagenix has as much as 240 calories for the same serving. That’s almost double!

But the great news is that it has much more dietary fiber when compared to IdealShape at 8 grams per serving, though that’s only a slight win to IdealShape’s 5 grams of dietary fiber per serving.

  • Sodium

Another thing that you should be wary of is your sodium intake, a little of it can significantly increase your water weight and can even be bad for your overall health like raises your blood pressure. Of course, we don’t want that to happen.

Isagenix has a very high sodium level at approximately 256 mg of sodium per serving, while IdealShape only contains about 210 mg of sodium for every serving.

  • Sugar

Unfortunately, Isagenix is heavily dependent on sugar much more than IdealShape. It actually contains 11 grams of sugar in every serving. I understand that you might find this amount to be alarming; after all, we are fully aware how excessive sugar can negatively affect our body.

IdealShape, on the other hand, only has 1 gram of sugar per serving; so it’s a great choice of if you don’t want too much sugar in your diet.

  • Protein

Protein content will determine how often your tummy gets grumbling and let you grab that burger you’ve been eyeing for, so the higher protein of the meal replacement shake is, the better it would be.

Well, between the two shakes, Isagenix can keep you feel full longer with 24 grams of protein per serving, take note that this is already 48% of our body’s required daily protein intake. So if you are someone who frequently does strenuous workouts or regularly lift weights, then Isagenix is highly recommended for you. IdealShape only has about half of it with 11 grams per serving.

Overall, I find IdealShape to have better nutritional value. Though Isagenix has so much more protein, I can’t ignore how high its sugar content and calorie is. Anyway, you can simply enjoy your IdealShape with some skim milk if you want to increase your protein intake every day.

2. Which one tastes better?

This is probably the major strength of IdealShape among the other meal replacement shakes. You can choose from its 14 flavors; chocolate and vanilla flavor are the best sellers. I like how the shake test very pleasant and how good its texture is. You can even easily mix the shake with other beverage or milk to improve its taste more.

In contrast, Isagenix has fewer choices of flavor but a lot have been impressed with its vanilla flavor. There are also some users who find the product to be a bit too sweet; of course, you have to remember that it comes with 11 grams of sugar which are really high.

3. Which one is more affordable?

Without a doubt, IdealShape is today’s one of the cheapest shake available in the market. You can get one month supply or 30 servings for just $49.99; this means each serving will cost you $1.50.

On the contrary, Isagenix is priced at $51 for 14 servings. This is about $3.64 per serving. Well, this can be a bit expensive for some customers, regardless how great the product can be.

Final Thought

So, which is the better meal replacement shake between the two products? When it comes to choosing between IdealShape vs. Isagenix, the choice would likely be subject to what you require in a meal replacement shake. Though I find IdealShape better than Isagenix, not only it is affordable but it is also doing a great job.

Shakeology vs Vega One: You Need to Know Which One is Better?

“Shakeology vs. Vega One, which meal supplement do you think would be worth my money? Which do you think is much better?”

I’ve been getting these questions a lot recently and I must admit, both shakes are very comparable. But you must remember that not all shakes are created equal!

Anyway, do you find yourself asking these questions too? Well, keep on reading below! In this article, I will be sharing with you the most comprehensive answer.

Comparison between Vega One and Shakeology

1. Let’s take a closer look at their nutrients.

We can’t compare Shakeology vs. Vega One until we take a closer look at what each meal supplement can offer. So let us thoroughly examine both shakes’ nutritional content.

  • Protein

There are so many reasons why protein is good for weight loss. It will help you feel fuller longer and slows down your digestion to make you feel more satisfied. It is very important, especially if you are just in the first phase of your weight loss journey. So the higher the protein content of our meal supplement, the better choice it would be.

When it comes to protein content, VegaOne has a bit more protein when in compared to Shakeology. It has 20 grams of protein per serving while Shakeology only has 17 grams of protein per serving.

  • Sugar.

However, both shakes have major differences when it comes to sugar content. Shakeology has 9 grams of sugar per serving while Vega One only has 1 gram of sugar per serving. In case you don’t know, sugar can be seriously detrimental to your weight loss efforts.

  • Carbohydrates

In order to lose weight more efficiently, cutting carbs is going to be the best strategy. A study actually shows that a low carb diet, even if you are just going to do it twice a week, is more effective than a low-calorie diet to lose weight.

So how do both our shakes fare when it comes to carbohydrates? Well, Shakeology has about twice of Vega One’s carbohydrates at 22 grams per serving. Vega One only has 1 gram of carbohydrates per serving.

  • Sodium

There’s also a big difference between Shakeology and Vega One’s sodium level. VegaOne only has 30 mg of sodium per serving while Shakelogy contains as much as 150 mg of sodium per serving. This is not the highest sodium content I’ve seen though, Isagenix even has a very high sodium level at approximately 256 mg of sodium per serving, but of course, I’ll prefer taking the much lower total per serving all day long like Vega One.

You can also check out my informative comparison about Isagenix vs. Shakeology to know which meal supplement is really worth your money. But for this round, I will be choosing Vega One since it has more protein, less sugar, fewer carbohydrates and less sodium. Furthermore, it is also certified to be gluten-free.

2. Are there any superfoods on both shakes?

When it comes to the superfoods, both shakes make a nice contrast. Vega One features all the antioxidants, probiotics as well as some digestive aids that I would be helpful to your health. It is packed with omega-3’s, alfalfa, maca root, spinach, kale and so much more. It is going to be more than you will ever normally get from a green diet.

Then again, Shakeology offers superfoods too and these are ones that have been used by the ancient civilization to promote health and overall well-being. These are Moringa which is very rich in Vitamin C, Coconut Flower Nectar, Luo Han Guo and Himalayan Salt.

3. Which one tastes better?

Since Vega One has been formulated for vegan, it may taste a bit blander and less palatable than Shakeology. It also has grainier texture. One user even described its taste to be as horrible as seaweed. You can choose between its five flavors: Natural, French Vanilla, Vanilla Chai, Chocolate, and Berry. The natural flavored is said to be the least favorite of many people while vanilla and chocolate are the most popular ones.

Shakeology has more options with its seven flavors, these are Chocolate, Vanilla, Café Latte, Greenberry, and Strawberry. The other two flavors come in vegan, Tropical Strawberry, and Chocolate.

4. Which one is cheaper?

Both Shakeology and Vega One are actually among the most expensive meal supplement available. But Vega One is the cheaper alternative at about $2.59 per serving or single pack while each serving of Shakeology basically cost over $4.

Final Thought

In the battle of Shakeology vs. Vega One, I must say that it is a tough competition.  Both offer a number of benefits that you will never find in any other meal supplements and both are also going to cost you a little more.

But if I have to declare a winner, it would absolutely be Shakeology in terms of nutrients and benefits. It is absolutely a great choice to keep you healthy and it tastes delicious too! You even have more choices with the vegan and non-vegan choices. Thought it is a bit pricier, you will get what you pay for.
